18th and 19th August 2025 // Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (M.E.T.) in MRC Training Academy, Glenmarie

Under the collaboration among PROATEC eSKILL and MOTORDATA RESEARCH CONSORTIUM SDN BHD, a two-day Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (M.E.T.) training course was successfully organized from 18th until 19th August 2025, starting from 9:00am until 5:00pm in MRC Training Academy, Glenmarie.

Who Attended
A total of 13 participants from the Mercedes-Benz Cycle & Carriage attended the course.

Training Content

1. Understanding the M.E.T. Safety Approach
2. Understanding the Damage Analysis of Systems & Components
3. Read OEM Body Workshop Manual (Chassis)
4. Demo/ practical - Carrying M.E.T. dismantle and refit on vehicle body parts as per OEM recommended method
5. Demo/ practical - Perform pre-scan and post scan and vehicle risk assessment
6. Demo/ practical - Perform tightening torque using analog and digital torque wrench
7. Assessment - 30 objective questions and two (2) practical Cases

Certification
This course is eligible for the participants to obtain the IMI UK Awards Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (M.E.T.)  under Professional Achievement Certificate (PAC-MOTORD-06-HC).
