Training Organized

Under the collaboration among PROATEC eSKILL and PAC AUTO MARKETING SDN BHD, a 5-day advance course on Automotive Body Structural Repair was successfully conducted from 5th August 2019 until 9th August 2019 starting from 9:00am until 5:00pm in Top Diversified Sdn Bhd, Taiping, Perak.

Thanks to Mr. Clemens Wong (PAC) for choosing ProAtec eSkill to be the service training provider for the course.

Theory explanation and briefing

• Vehicle structural repair process with S.O.P. diagram
• Sectioning process according to OEM specifications
• Body vehicles dimensions on Proton Saga
• OEM recommended standard replacement of body panels
• Common body & paint workshop operation flow and statutory requirement
• Videos - Crash test vehicles
• OEM body repair workshop manuals; Toyota and Honda
• Current technology features equipped in modern vehicles e.g. A.D.A.S. (advanced driving assists system)
• How to reset calibration on A.D.A.S.

Practical Activities / Hands-on 

• Perform vehicle body measuring with tram gauge
• Perform vehicle body measuring with electronic measurement system
• Learn how to read OEM body repair workshop manuals
• Learn how to identify original body panel parts
• Plan repair method based on the accident impact and severity of the damages
• Perform vehicle setting on bench jig
• Case - Replace / repair front chassis leg
• Case - Replace / repair front pillar
• Case - Replace / repair rear end panel
• Case - Repair boot floor
• Perform spot welds with Spot Welding Machine
